2018

  • Variable Rate Technology Solutions established from a home office in Esperance, Western Australia.

    Mapping equipment purchased from Precision Agronomics Australia.

    Mapping and soil sampling and testing services offered.

2019

  • VRT Solutions invested in and acquired additional soil surveying equipment.

    Early emphasis on precision agriculture and data integrity.

    Services offered generally south of the Great Eastern Highway in WA Wheatbelt.

2020

  • Higher demand and adoption of services required expansion of VRTS team.

    Doubling of capacity for soil mapping and consultancy services.

    Soil sampling demand increased.

2021

  • More sustained work in wider areas of the wheatbelt, especially lower rainfall regions.

    Presentations at several regional field days and grower groups increasing.

    Surge in work requests for soil surveys and precision ag consultancy.

2022

  • Established our Dempster Street office in Esperance, Western Australia.

    In-house 6-month project development of a high-resolution soil organic carbon model in WA.

    Work volume maintained at a high level, focus on quality output for clients.

2023

  • Expanded field operations to support increased area coverage.

    Commenced software development of VRT’s software solution – Spectare.

    Presentations and involvement at many regional updates, field days, and national conferences.

    More soil survey equipment and soil sampling equipment purchased.

    Official release of VRT’s in-house designed and built software solution – Spectare.

    Invested in industrial premises in key agricultural regions.

    Invitation to present at many national, and inter-state conferences and field days, precision ag focus events and grower groups.
